Do you dare watch this horrid movie?

Directed by Matthew Broomfield, The Freakshow Apocalypse: The Unholy Sideshow can be described in one word: appalling. Atrocious edits, frustrating characters, and an unidentifiable plotline are only a few of the things wrong with this film.

This movie, to be honest, will have you saying, “What the bloody hell am I watching?” Even IMDb.com couldn’t help me find the plot:

“A family of Serial Killer, Black Magician Sideshow Freaks are called upon by The Order of Mystery, a secret society of Wizards, Sideshow Masters and Vampires, to prevent the coming of the dead.”

This terrible film is filled with constant smoking; forced laughter; dreadful dialogue; Jelly Boy (Eric Broomfield), the Annoying Clown; and Malerkus (Eric Broomfield), the Circus Master/Scientist/Killer.

The Annoying Jelly Boy.

However, there are a few redeeming qualities, such as incredible performer stunts and fabulous makeup artists. Because of their makeup artists, I actually cringed when someone would be slit open or tortured, and when The Enigma shoved quarters under his eyelids, I had to look away. And if you listen close enough, and ignore the poor sound effects, you might even laugh at some of their cleverly-written jokes.

And now I ask you, watcher: are you up for The Freakshow Apocalypse: The Unholy Sideshow challenge? (If you do take the challenge, please let me know what you thought about it.)

Until then, my fellow horror fanatics.
